Founded in 2017 by Annemarie’s Dance Centre studio director Chrissy Reynolds, Illuminate Downtown Ashland is a community event that shines a light on the important role art plays within a community.

Annemarie's Dance Centre alongside the town of Ashland and Arts! Ashland Alliance partner local artists/performers with community spaces both public and private. Audience members are encouraged to visit the different locations and experience the art within each venue. The event is free and open to the public.

This year The Drum Nomads, The Boston Music Ensemble, International String Trio, Joe Stillitano (The Cardinal), The Ashland High School Chorus and The Movement Project Performance Company will perform at the following locations: Annemarie’s Dance Centre, The Corner Spot, Federated Church of Ashland, The Ocean House, Blush Bouquet and Needham Bank.

Artists Suzie Meeker, Cliff Wilson and Visi Tilak will have their work on display.

Important Ashland organizations A.R.E.A and Ashland is United will also be present.
