Cynthia Whitty Communications creates clear, compelling marketing communications to help businesses and nonprofits generate leads/membership/revenue.
From my work with Fortune 500 companies and local businesses and nonprofits, I apply my writing, editing and strategic communications skills to sales and grant proposals, brochures, newsletters, sales presentations, press releases, feature articles, white papers, sell sheets and websites. In addition to traditional communications, I create and manage social media for a number of organizations.
Active in my community, throughout Metrowest and the state, I help plan and promote educational and cultural programs. I serve as vice president of a local nonprofit, a board member for a Massachusetts history museum and the board liaison to the national Women's Heritage Trails Committee, where I am working on the state and national women's 2020 centennial celebration.
I won a prestigious Mass Humanities grant for a five-program series I developed for the museum and coordinated and promoted a complex, eight-day, town-wide event to promote local businesses for the town of Ashland. I am a founding member of Ashland Community Gardens and the Ashland Farmers Market.
